Quarantine Notice:
Many states have been quarantined for EAB. Infested areas are quarantined to prevent the spread of the beetle and materials that could contain EAB. If you live in a quarantine area, do not move firewood — burn it where you buy it.

Since its discovery in southeastern Michigan in 2002, the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) beetle has been found in:
- Illinois
- Indiana
- Iowa
- Kentucky
- Maryland
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- Missouri
- New York
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
- Tennessee
- Virginia
- West Virginia
- Wisconsin
